Another free thing you can do in Las Vegas is experience the Fremont Street Experience. This place is a real marvel – an open-air mall where you will always find super-fun free things to do and see. Of course, you can stop by the stores as well and bring back home some well-deserved souvenirs for yourself and your loved ones.
The Fremont Street Experience is located on the Fremont St, Las Vegas, NV 89101, USA, and you can get there by taking The Deuce or the Strip Downtown Express from the Strip. The place is open 24/7 and it can take anything between one hour and several to actually allow the entire Street Experience to sink in.
#3. Admire The Mirage.
Undoubtedly one of the most famous hotels and casinos in Las Vegas, the Mirage is a must-see. You don’t have to stay here, and you don’t even have to spend time in their casino to admire the beauty, the splendor, and the unique style of the entire building.
The Mirage is located on 3400 S Las Vegas Blvd, Las Vegas, NV 89109, USA, and there are regular shuttles taking you from the McCarran Airport to the actual hotel. Aside from that, you can also take The Deuce to get here.
As you would expect it, the place is open all day (and night long), so you can see it any time. Visiting it can take a few minutes (to take some photos and amaze yourself) to hours. If you want to stay here, prices for one night will start at about $200+.
#4. Take some Photos at the New York Hotel & Casino
Las Vegas has its own kind of branded kitsch – one that is lovely and amazing at the same time. If you miss NYC (or if you have never seen it) and if you are in Las Vegas, the New York Hotel & Casino is the next best thing to flying to actual New York.
You will find this hotel at 3790 S Las Vegas Blvd, Las Vegas, NV 89109, USA, and you can get there by shuttle, Uber, or public transportation. There are regular shows here, including world-renowned entertainers such as the Cirque du Soleil.
If you want to go to one of these shows, prices start at $75 or lower, depending on the entertainer, the day you want to see it, and the time of the day as well.
#5. Visit The Neon Museum
If you are already exhausted from all the lights and the casino, but still don’t want to give up on that amazing Las Vegas vibe and experience, try out the Neon Museum.
Built-in 1996, this museum is all about signs from old casinos – a true trip back in time that will fascinate you and stir your curiosity.
You will find the Neon Museum on 770 Las Vegas Blvd N, Las Vegas, NV 89101, USA. You can get here by taking the 113 bus, the Deuce Bus, or the WAX Bus.
The museum is open every day from 9 am to 7 pm (Thursday to Sunday) and 9 am to 6 pm (Monday to Wednesday). If you want a tour, it will cost $22 for a general admission ticket, and $28 for a guided tour. Definitely worth visiting, as this is one of the most interesting things to do in Las Vegas!
#6. Have Fun at the Adventuredome Theme Park

The Adventuredome Theme Park is located on the Strip, at Circus Circus Hotel (2880 S Las Vegas Blvd, Las Vegas, NV 89109, USA if you want the specific address). You can get here by taking the Deuce.
The park is open from 10 am to 12 am on Fridays and Saturdays. From 10 am to 9 pm on Sundays, and from 11 am to 6 pm on the rest of the week. Tickets cost $33.95 for anyone over 48 inches and $19.95 for anyone under that height.
#7. Take a Break at the Red Rock Canyon National Conservation Area
If you got tired of the city and want to experience the Great Outdoors a little, we recommend the Red Rock Canyon National Conservation Area. Located in the famous Mojave Desert, this place truly is a sight for sore eyes.
Aside from its ultra-famous red rocks and the spectacular views, you also have the chance to see seasonal waterfalls here – a view that will definitely please your eye and your camera!
To get to the Red Rock Canyon, you should drive about 25 miles south of Las Vegas Strip. Because this is also a conservation area, you will also have to pay $15 for every motor vehicle going in (with an extra $5 for every person in the car), $10 if you come by motorcycle, and $5 if you come by bicycle. All vehicles will be parked at the entrance before the loop.
Do keep in mind that, during Thanksgiving, the area’s scenic drive will be open only for a limited time (until noon).
